1. President Obama on Friday called on all Americans to share in the responsibility of shoring up the country’s still wobbly economy.

Translated: You thought your taxes were high? Wait til we really RAISE THEM! Obama’s idea of “everyone doing their share” is for the workers, producers, and job creators to PAY MORE TAXES.

2. Building on his State of the Union speech on Tuesday, Mr. Obama,speaking to House Democrats gathered at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Hotel for their annual strategy retreat, said “common purpose andcommon resolve” will ensure the United States is the “greatest country, the largest economy and [has] the broadest middle class on earth.”

Crikey! The call for us to ALL have ALL things in common and the call for the broadest middle class is straight out of Marx, Lenin, trotsky, Stalin et al!! “For the good of the state, the COMMON GOOD.” Give Me LIBERTY or Give Me Death!

3. Then Obama said- “We do not succeed on our own, we all have to pull weight and to our own work,” he said. “America is not about handouts but we always understand we’re more successful when we do it together.”

Translated: NO MORE American dream! NO MORE LIBERTY! NO MORE Individualism! NO MORE Bill of Rights! NO MORE Constitution! NO MORE of a person, and individual, chasing their dream! NO MORE AMERICA!

4. Mr. Obama reaffirmed his support for the so-called “Buffett Rule”setting a higher minimum tax rate on millionaires, but dismissed criticisms he is demanding the nation’s wealthy shoulder an unfair share of the nation’s tax burden.

This Marxist TRAITOR! The Top 1% ALREADY pay 40% of all taxes in America!!!! CUT Taxes! CUT ALL Taxes!!! CUT ALL TAXES ON EVERYONE!!!

5. Mr. Obama said he will push hard to ensure those earning more than $1 million dollars annually aren’t getting tax breaks and subsidies “they don’t need.” He said his proposal is “not out of envy, but out of a sense offairness and a sense of mutual responsibility and a sense of commitment to this country’s future.”

WHO determines WHAT is “fair”? WHO decides what taxe breaks, subsidies and tax cuts “the eViL rich” don’t need? What a pant load! This is more Coomie-speak strait out of Marx (a Satanist) and Saul Alinski (a Traitor)!

6. But the president added “the job is not done — not even close” to help bolster the U.S. manufacturing base. To to that, he said, requires a more fair tax code that doesn’t provide tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas.

What a glistening jewel of colossal ARROGANCE! THE Problem with companies and jobs going over seas or out of the country IS TOO HIGH OF TAXATION, TOO MUCH GOV./MARXIST REGULATION, AND YOUR STALINIST COHORTS IN THE UNIONS!!! Get rid of all these LIBERAL impediments and comapnies and businesses will QUIT going over seas!!! It is YOURoppressive, tyrannical, Stalinist taxation and regulating that is DESTROYING AMERICA!!!!

7. Lastly, and mercifully, Obama said this- “Oil is not enough,” he said. Republicans “think that the only subsidy that’s worth providing is subsidies to oil companies. Well, as I said, we’ve been subsidizing oilcompanies for close to a century now. Rarely have they been more profitable.”

If you could see and hear me I just screamed and began pounding my head against a wall!! Obama, you IDIOTIC COMMUNIST, we have PLENTY OF OIL, LOTS OF IT, HUNDREDS OF YEARS OF IT…but YOU and the DNC/EPA wont let us get it!!! You are a lying liar of all liars!!! You can subsidise a company all you want…but if you will NOT let them do ALL they can to promote their industry and create jobs YOU are NOT helping them YOU ARE PUNISHING AND PROHIBITING THEM!!!

Well it seems that the media has been successful in assassinating Herman Cain's character. Today, December 3, Herman Cain got on nationwide television and announced he was suspending his campaign. To some, that may still offer hope, as suspending doesn't mean ending. But in this case I fear that it does. Herman Cain is a marvelous communicator. Whether or not he would've made a good president or vice president, we will never know. I for one, feel that the media has been totally biased in this matter. There are so many things regarding Barack Obama that could be looked into but have not been. Leaving the birth certificate issue aside, there are some things that are absolutely factual that have been given far distance. For example, Obama has a Social Security card that was issued in Connecticut, yet he is never lived in Connecticut. If one of the Republican candidates had a Social Security card issued in a state that he had never lived in, do you think the media would overlook that? I fear we are moving ever closer to a socialist country. We have but one peaceful chance left to right this wrong, and that is to vote Obama out of office in 2012 and get back to running our country in the manner the Constitution calls for it to be run.

democrat. He has hit the nail directly on the head, defining clearly
who it is that in the final analysis must assume responsibility for the
judgments made that impact each one of us every day.

545 vs. 300,000,000 People -By Charlie Reese

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems
and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans
are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against
inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does.
You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on
You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank
does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine
Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300
million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the
domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that
problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its
Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered,
but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason.
They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator,
a congressman, or a President to do one cotton- picking thing. I don't care
if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the
power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the
legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you
that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con
regardless of party. What separates a politician from a normal human being
is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall
of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.
The President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to
accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole
responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and
approving appropriations and taxes. House and Senate members, not
the President, can approve any budget they want. If the President vetoes
it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace
545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and
irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable
directly to those 545 people.

When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power
of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what
they want to exist. If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it
unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.

If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it's because they want

We are all aware that President Obama is a friend to the Unions - especially the SEIU. Well, take a look at this. Take a look at how the SEIU plans to destroy the financial institutions in America. Eric Holder recently successfully prosecuted a man who was minting his own silver coinage - called the Liberty Dollar - for economic terrorism. The man was offering a genuine silver dollar in exchange for goods and products. Our dollars are backed by NOTHING. This man had real silver to back his up - and oh yes, the government at Holders direction, seized $7,000,000 of the man's silver. A dangerous fellow he was! But it seems like people like this Steve Lerner of the SEIU can operate AGAINST our Republic with impunity. I call upon the government to go after him and his associates just as they did the man minting money of REAL value. But you watch and listen to what is said and draw your own conclusions.

Kudos to Governor Scott Walker and the Republican Legislature of Wisconsin for standing firm on their beliefs and more importantly, acting upon them. Once the hysteria wears down, the citizens (many of whom already do) will realize what an important move this was for their state - especially when their fiscal situation shows concrete improvement. I applaud these men and women of the legislature for their tenacity and bravery in the face of faux prophets of doom and the screaming bullies, who in fact proved not even to be useful idiots. As I'm sure you all know, there is a huge controversy going on Wisconsin between the governor and the labor unions. Labor unions are claiming the governor is trying to bust the unions. This is simply not true. He is asking that they pay for a portion of their retirement fund and their medical benefits. The unions also claim he is trying to take away their right of collective bargaining. This also is not true. Many people are regarding this is a battle between the governor and the unions. What it really is, is a battle between the unions and the taxpayers of the state of Wisconsin. Who is going to run the state of Wisconsin, the labor unions, or the citizens and voters of the state? The situation with the TSA is completely out of hand and apparently so with the blessings of the Department of Homeland Security and the White House. As this video shows, this has been going on for some time now - not just recently. Why are they doing this? My wife thinks she has it figured out and I totally agree with her. If you remember, back in March of this year (2010), Senators Chuck Schumer and Lindsay Graham wanted the American Public to have a National ID Card. The card would have been a biometric card, that is to say it would have had fingerprint information, DNA codes, retinal scan information - anything that could be a 100% identification factor. Well, we, the American Public, told them to shove the idea. So since that time, the TSA has started acting like barbarians, doing every outrageous thing imaginable to enrage the public. Folks, we are being Socially Engineered. The government wants to get us to the point where we will ask them to go to a biometric form of identification and then BINGO. We will all have National ID Cards. Let us not be fooled, and continue to stand up for ourselves. We are AMERICANS who live in a Republic that follows the rules of our Constitution, We are NOT SUBJECTS of a socialistic/communistic political system. We must DEMAND the firing of John Pistole, Head of the TSA and DEMAND the firing of Janet Napolitano, head of the Department of Homeland Security and then we should demand that the DHS be disbanded. that there is a problem with the ruling on California’s Proposition 8. The problem I have is that it went before the Federal Court to start with. Proposition 8 was a measure placed on the ballot for the citizens of California to decide by popular vote. They did. The People spoke through the ballot box and that should have been the end of it. Whether you agree or disagree with the results of the vote, the voting was handled in a legal and proper manner. It seems that in this day and age if the few do not agree with the wishes of the many they will haul them to court and do their best to have their views prevail. This means one man or woman (judge) can literally over ride the feelings of thousands, perhaps millions of other people. There is a name for a system like that and it does not stem from democracy nor fit in a Republic.

The State of Arizona has a bill pending known as "The Birther" Bill. Under this bill, presidential candidates who want to appear on the Arizona ballots for presidential elections would have to prove that they are qualified natural born citizens of the United States. The Democrats have stated that if this bill is passed, Arizona will become the laughing stock of the nation. Our US Constitution requires presidents to be natural born American citizens so a law of this nature is not something new, it is further in support of our Constitution. Our Fathers and Mothers will suffer if this bill is passed as funding will be pulled from Medicare to fund this piece of socialism. Would you be willing to see your Grandmother or Grandfather, Mother or Father, die because treatment that was formerly available was now being withheld?

For example, if you called the switchboard number and wanted to speak to Congressman Harry Mitchell you would simply say "Please connect me with Congressman Harry Mitchell's office". The Congressman will not answer the phone, but an aide will. Simply tell them you want the Congressman to vote NO on the healthcare bill. Do not be nervous. Remember, we elected these representatives and therefore THEY WORK FOR US and not the other way around.

This is a monumental moment in the history of our country. We are, and always have been, a Republic. It Has Been a While

Wow! Seven months have just flown by. I have gotten so involved in the political process that I just have not had the time to devote here. I have not done anything special in the political arena - I just became a precinct committee man. In so doing, I have done a lot of the little things that are done behind the scenes to make things work. Nothing special - just grunt work that must be done. It has been quite enlightening and I have enjoyed it. Right now we are faced with the spectre of Obama Care. I am hoping that enough of the public is now enlightened enough to make sure this does not become a part of America. I urge everyone I meet to contact their representatives and senators and make their feelings known on the issues. Most important of all, I urge people who have not registered to vote to do so. This November will be a memorable time in our country's history. I am hoping the People will clean out the dead wood and get new representatives and senators elected who know that they work for the People and not vice versa. Well, that's about it for now. I will try to make more frequent contributions. Remember, VOTE THIS NOVEMBER!

I Was SO PROUD

Yesterday, August 14th, 2009 was a first. Over 3 1/2 years ago, my wife and I got our two Burros, Alexander and Sebastian, from a Bureau of Land Management auction. They were both totally wild. For the next year, we devoted a lot of our time getting them to trust us (and us to trust them) and become docile. It was a learning experience for both sides. Alexander responded more readily than Sebastian, but gradually Sebastian came around. The next thing we wanted to do was let them out in our fenced yard so they could have a good run if they wanted to and so they could explore their surroundings. We decided for starters, we would make it a weekly event. Since Alexander had responded so well to our "gentling", I fully expected him to be the first out. We were both surprised when he did not want to leave his corral. Sebastian, on the other hand was eager to get out and we let him. He ran and played and just had fun - all under the watchful eyes of Alexander - but he still would not come out.

Yesterday, it was much the same. I opened both corrals and Sebastian was happy to get out. Alexander ran around in his corral but that is where he stayed. Sebastian ran in to play with him and my wife called to him to take his little brother outside with him. Well, they played a little longer then Sebastian slowly walked out of Alexander's corral and Alexander followed him. Sebastian walked down the walkway and out the front gate and ... Alexander followed him!! He looked around and realized he was in the "Big Yard" and for a moment I thought he was going to run back in. But then Sebastian bit him on the butt and ran off - and Alexander went after him in full pursuit. For the next hour Alexander and his big brother explored their "Big Yard" while my wife and I, bursting with pride, watched on and enjoyed every moment. Raising Donkeys

I had mentioned before that I have two Donkeys, Alexander and Sebastian. They were both wild burros when I got them and they have spent their lives, since being at my home, in their corrals in back of the house. Their corrals are good sized corrals but they are not huge. I figured they might want to get out of those corrals and have a good run in the back yard. So, I opened all the gates and figured they would walk or run out and explore their yard. Not so. For the next hour, they chased each other back and forth into each other's corral. Never once did they run down the short walkway between the corrals and out into the yard. I decided I'd better take a video of the event. I will continue to entice them out each week and I hope to someday have a video here that shows them happily running around their yard. In the mean time, this video is about 4 minutes long. I hope you enjoy it.

Obama admits He's "Not Familiar" with House Bill

Well Folks, we are going through the biggest political battle of our lives right now. If we don't win, we will lose our Country. It's really that simple. We must TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK from these dunderheads who claim they know what's best for us. We must continue to write, e-mail, fax, and call our Senators and Representatives and demand that right be done. Next year is an election for much of the House and some of the Senate. If you know there is a good incumbent in office keep him/her there - otherwise VOTE THEM OUT! Let's get rid of the dead wood and get people who are willing to represent US in those offices.

The present health care bill, H.R. 3200, if passed, will be the death knell for this country as well for those of us truly needing health care. President Obama says we desperately need this to be passed. Everything he has gotten passed so far has only dug us farther into a hole. I simply do not believe a thing the man says anymore. In 2012, it will be my pleasure to cast a vote for someone else.

In the present version of H.R. 3200, on page 425, the bill outlines provisions for the voluntary suicide of the elderly. This means that all of us will get old and our government out of the kindness of its heart will counsel us on ways to do ourselves in - and this will be MANDATORY every five years. Also, we have been told that if we already have health insurance, we will be allowed to keep it. More lies from the Hope and Change group. That can be verified by going to Section 102, starting on page 16 of the bill.

More Public Deception

Recently, the House of Representatives, passed H.R. 2454, The American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009, also known as The Cap and Trade Bill that allegedly will create jobs, help end our dangerous dependence on foreign oil, and combat global warming. It is supposed to create millions of clean energy jobs. These would be jobs, in among other areas, solar power and wind power. The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) sent a report to Congress outlining the reasons this would be beneficial to America and this was supposed to sway their opinion into voting for it. But wait! It turns out the EPA suppressed a report that actually pointed out that all of this was not truly necessary. Keep in mind that if the Senate passes this Bill, we can all expect our yearly expenditures for energy to rise $1,500.00 to $3,000.00 per year in taxes. Hey wait a minute, Didn't Mr. Obama state he would NOT raise our taxes unless we made more than $250,000.00 per year. Oops! Another little oversight for the Obama administration of thieves and thugs. Representative Michele Bachmann, a Republican from Minnesota, is one of the FEW people we have in congress that is still desperately trying to represent us, the American People. It certainly appears that the rest of congress is just going through the motions and supporting whatever the president wants - whether it is constitutionally legal or not. WE MUST GET RID OF THESE PEOPLE! If we are to survive as the America we all once knew, we must VOTE THEM OUT in the coming 2010 elections. The time is short so, regardless of our party affiliations, we should be looking for willing and suitable replacements.

There will be more efforts to control guns

Recently, an 88 year old man took a weapon to the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC and killed one of the guards there. The guard he killed had actually been nice enough to hold the door open for him. He did not realize he was carrying the weapon and unfortunately, it cost him his life. Two other guards in the Museum responded and traded fire with the deranged man and critically wounded him. He was down and no further people were shot. Let me restate that in another way. The guns of the two guards shot and put down the deranged man who wanted to use his gun to commit further mayhem. A gun prevented further killing.

Of course this is NOT the way the politicians are seeing it. Guns are what caused this event. It was not the deranged thinking of an old white supremacist man who decided to go to the Museum and kill people – it was the gun.

John Stossel, of ABC’s 20/20, investigated whether or not guns cause more crime and whether or not gun control resulted in lesser crime. Here are his results.

I've been reading with great dismay about the Hate Crime Bill that is presently in the United States Senate, having passed the House of Representatives. This bill if passed would actually protect a good many sexual predators, including pedophiles.

Allegedly, the bill was submitted to make us all more respectful and tolerant of those with different lifestyles. I certainly do not believe that. I believe this bill is just one more step down the road to depravity.

In doing some research on this area, I came across a speech given by Charlton Heston some ten years ago to students at Harvard Law School. It is even more poignant today than at the time it was delivered. I want all of you to see it, as it gives us much to think about.

Charlton Heston, the actor and conservative activist, delivered a stem-winder to about 200 listeners about "a cultural war that's about to hijack your birthright to think and say what resides in your heart."
"He knew he was coming to a liberal environment, and clearly a group of his listeners was conservative and another was more liberal," said David Christopherson, president of the forum. "About half respectfully challenged him during the questions. It generated a lot of debate around the campus. But what happened caught us off-guard."
What happened was Rush Limbaugh's radio talk show. On March 15, Limbaugh read the entire speech on the air, only to find himself bombarded with thousands of requests for a copy of it. The same thing happened at Harvard Law.
"We couldn't keep up with all the requests," said Mike Chmura at Harvard. "It really didn't have legs and might have been forgotten if Mr. Limbaugh hadn't decided to deliver it."

'Winning the Cultural War' Charlton Heston's Speech to the Harvard Law School Forum Feb 16, 1999

I remember my son when he was five, explaining to his kindergarten class what his father did for a living. "My Daddy," he said, "pretends to be people." There have been quite a few of them. Prophets from the Old and New Testaments, a couple of Christian saints, generals of various nationalities and different centuries, several kings, three American presidents, a French cardinal and two geniuses, including Michelangelo.
If you want the ceiling repainted I'll do my best. There always seem to be a lot of different fellows up here. I'm never sure which one of them gets to talk. Right now, I guess I'm the guy.
As I pondered our visit tonight it struck me: If my Creator gave me the gift to connect you with the hearts and minds of those great men, then I want to use that same gift now to reconnect you with your own sense of liberty of your own freedom of thought ... your own compass for what is right.
Dedicating the memorial at Gettysburg, Abraham Lincoln said of America, "We are now engaged in a great Civil War, testing whether this nation or any nation so conceived and so dedicated can long endure." Those words are true again. I believe that we are again engaged in a great civil war, a cultural war that's about to hijack your birthright to think and say what resides in your heart. I fear you no longer trust the pulsing lifeblood of liberty inside you ... the stuff that made this country rise from wilderness into the miracle that it is.
Let me back up. About a year ago I became president of the National Rifle Association, which protects the right to keep and bear arms. I ran for office, I was elected, and now I serve ... I serve as a moving target for the media who've called me everything from "ridiculous" and "duped" to a "brain-injured, senile, crazy old man." I know ... I'm pretty old ... but I sure, Lord, ain't senile.
As I have stood in the crosshairs of those who target Second Amendment freedoms, I've realized that firearms are not the only issue. No, it's much, much bigger than that.
I've come to understand that a cultural war is raging across our land, in which, with Orwellian fervor, certain acceptable thoughts and speech are
mandated. For example, I marched for civil rights with Dr. King in 1963 - long before Hollywood found it fashionable. But when I told an audience last year that white pride is just as valid as black pride or red pride or anyone else's pride, they called me a racist.
I've worked with brilliantly talented homosexuals all my life. But when I told an audience that gay rights should extend no further than your rights or my rights, I was called a homophobe. I served in World War II against the Axis powers. But during a speech, when I drew an analogy between singling out innocent Jews and singling out innocent gun owners, I was called an anti-Semite. Everyone I know knows I would never raise a closed fist against my country. But when I asked an audience to oppose this cultural persecution, I was compared to Timothy McVeigh.
From Time magazine to friends and colleagues, they're essentially saying, "Chuck, how dare you speak your mind. You are using language not authorized for public consumption!" But I am not afraid. If Americans believed in political correctness, we'd still be King George's boys -- subjects bound to the British crown.
In his book, "The End of Sanity," Martin Gross writes that "blatantly irrational behavior is rapidly being established as the norm in almost every area of human endeavor. There seem to be new customs, new rules, new anti-intellectual theories regularly foisted on us from every direction.
Underneath, the nation is roiling. Americans know something without a name is undermining the nation, turning the mind mushy when it comes to separating truth from falsehood and right from wrong. And they don't like it."
Let me read a few examples. At Antioch college in Ohio, young men seeking intimacy with a coed must get verbal permission at each step of the process from kissing to petting to final copulation ... all clearly spelled out in a printed college directive.
In New Jersey, despite the death of several patients nationwide who had been infected by dentists who had concealed their AIDs --- the state commissioner announced that health providers who are HIV positive need not ..... need not ..... tell their patients that they are infected.
At William and Mary, students tried to change the name of the school team "The Tribe" because it was supposedly insulting to local Indians, only to learn that authentic Virginia chiefs truly like the name.
In San Francisco, city fathers passed an ordinance protecting the rights of transvestites to cross-dress on the job, and for transsexuals to have separate toilet facilities while undergoing sex change surgery.
In New York City, kids who don't speak a word of Spanish have been placed in bilingual classes to learn their three R's in Spanish solely because their last names sound Hispanic.
At the University of Pennsylvania, in a state where thousands died at Gettysburg opposing slavery, the president of that college officially set up segregated dormitory space for black students. Yeah, I know ... that's out of bounds now. Dr. King said "Negroes." Jimmy Baldwin and most of us on the March said "black." But it's a no-no now. For me, hyphenated identities are awkward ... particularly "Native-American." I'm a Native American, for God's sake. I also happen to be a blood-initiated brother of the Miniconjou Sioux. On my wife's side, my grandson is a thirteenth generation native American ... with a capital letter on "American."
Finally, just last month ... David Howard, head of the Washington D.C. Office of Public Advocate, used the word "niggardly" while talking to colleagues about budgetary matters. Of course, "niggardly" means stingy or scanty. But within days Howard was forced to publicly apologize and resign. As columnist Tony Snow wrote: "David Howard got fired because some people in public employ were morons who (a) didn't know the meaning of niggardly, (b) didn't know how to use a dictionary to discover the meaning, and (c) actually demanded that he apologize for their ignorance."
What does all of this mean? It means that telling us what to think has evolved into telling us what to say, so telling us what to do can't be far behind. Before you claim to be a champion of free thought, tell me:
Why did political correctness originate on America's campuses? And why do you continue to tolerate it? Why do you, who're supposed to debate ideas, surrender to their suppression?
Let's be honest. Who here thinks your professors can say what they really believe? It scares me to death, and should scare you too, that the superstition of political correctness rules the halls of reason. You are
the best and the brightest. You, here in the fertile cradle of American academia, here in the castle of learning on the Charles River, you are the cream. But I submit that you, and your counterparts across the land, are the most socially conformed and politically silenced generation since Concord ridge. And as long as you validate that ... and abide it ... you are -- by your grandfathers' standards -- cowards.
Here's another example. Right now at more than one major university, Second Amendment scholars and researchers are being told to shut up about their findings or they'll lose their jobs. Why? Because their research findings would undermine big-city mayor's pending lawsuits that seek to extort hundreds of millions of dollars from firearm manufacturers.
I don't care what you think about guns. But if you are not shocked at that, I am shocked at you. Who will guard the raw material of unfettered ideas, if not you? Who will defend the core value of academia, if you supposed soldiers of free thought and expression lay down your arms and plead, "Don't shoot me."
If you talk about race, it does not make you a racist. If you see distinctions between the genders, it does not make you a sexist. If you think critically about a denomination, it does not make you anti-religion. If you accept but don't celebrate homosexuality, it does not make you a homophobe. Don't let America's universities continue to serve as incubators for this rampant epidemic of new McCarthyism.
But what can you do? How can anyone prevail against such pervasive social subjugation? The answer's been here all along. I learned it 36 years ago, on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC, standing with Dr. Martin Luther King and two hundred thousand people.
You simply ... disobey. Peaceably, yes. Respectfully, of course. Nonviolently, absolutely.
But when told how to think or what to say or how to behave, we don't. We disobey social protocol that stifles and stigmatizes personal freedom. I learned the awesome power of disobedience from Dr. King ... who learned it from Gandhi, and Thoreau, and Jesus, and every other great man who led those in the right against those with the might.
Disobedience is in our DNA. We feel innate kinship with that disobedient spirit that tossed tea into Boston Harbor, that sent Thoreau to jail, that refused to sit in the back of the bus, that protested a war
in Vietnam. In that same spirit, I am asking you to disavow cultural correctness with massive disobedience of rogue authority, social directives and onerous laws that weaken personal freedom.
But be careful ... it hurts. Disobedience demands that you put yourself at risk. Dr. King stood on lots of balconies. You must be willing to be humiliated ... to endure the modern day equivalent of the police dogs at Montgomery and the water cannons at Selma. You must be willing to experience discomfort. I'm not complaining, but my own decades of social activism have taken their toll on me. Let me tell you a story.
A few years back I heard about a rapper named Ice-T who was selling a CD called "Cop Killer" celebrating ambushing and murdering police officers. It was being marketed by none other than Time/Warner, the biggest entertainment conglomerate in the world.
Police across the country were outraged. Rightfully so - at least one had been murdered. But Time/Warner was stonewalling because the CD was a cash cow for them, and the media were tiptoeing around it because the rapper was black. I heard Time/Warner had a stockholders meeting scheduled in Beverly Hills. I owned some shares at the time, so I decided to attend.
What I did there was against the advice of my family and colleagues. I asked for the floor. To a hushed room of a thousand average American stockholders, I simply read the full lyrics of "Cop Killer"- every vicious, vulgar, instructional word.
"I GOT MY 12 GAUGE SAWED OFF. I GOT MY HEADLIGHTS TUNED OFF. I'M AOUT TO BUST SOME SHOTS OFF. I'M AOUT TO DUST SOME COPS OFF..."
It got worse, a lot worse. I won't read the rest of it to you. But trust me, the room was a sea of shocked, frozen, blanched faces. The Time/Warner executives squirmed in their chairs and stared at their shoes. They hated me for that. Then I delivered another volley of sick lyric brimming with racist filth, where Ice-T fantasizes about sodomizing two 12-year old nieces of Al and Tipper Gore.
"SHE PUSHED HER BUTT AGAINST MY ...."
Well, I won't do to you here what I did to them. Let's just say I left the room in echoing silence. When I read the lyrics to the waiting press corps, one of them said "We can't print that."
"I know," I replied, "but Time/Warner's selling it." Two months later, Time/Warner terminated Ice-T's contract. I'll never be offered another film by Warner's, or get a good review from Time magazine. But disobedience means you must be willing to act, not just talk.
When a mugger sues his elderly victim for defending herself ... jam the switchboard of the district attorney's office.
When your university is pressured to lower standards until 80% of the students graduate with honors ... choke the halls of the board of regents.
When an 8-year-old boy pecks a girl's cheek on the playground and gets hauled into court for sexual harassment ... march on that school and block its doorways.
When someone you elected is seduced by political power and betrays you...petition them, oust them, banish them.
When Time magazine's cover portrays millennium nuts as deranged, crazy Christians holding a cross as it did last month ... boycott their magazine and the products it advertises.
So that this nation may long endure, I urge you to follow in the hallowed footsteps of the great disobedience's of history that freed exiles, founded religions, defeated tyrants, and yes, in the hands of an aroused rabble in arms and a few great men, by God's grace, built this country.
If Dr. King were here, I think he would agree. Thank you.

305 Million Vs 545

Another article floated through my in box the other day. It makes a terrific amount of sense so I am sharing it with you here.

Charley Reese has been a journalist for 49 years. I am sure as you read this you will realize he is from the old school and not from the drooling throng of Obamatrons we are used to in this day and age.

545 PEOPLE

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes..

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red .

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ .

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way..

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.

Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the
United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care
about their status in the world. Sir, what do you think the First World
War and the Second World War were all about if not the consideration of
the peoples of Europe? Are you brain dead? What do you think the
Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history
of the 20th century?

Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States
does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the
Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States?
This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles
governing this country, at least until you came along, come directly
from this heritage. Do you not understand this?

Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all Americans..
Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi
Arabia . You don't show Great Britain, our best and one of our oldest
allies, the respect they deserve yet you bow down to the king of Saudi
Arabia . How dare you, sir! How dare you!

You can't find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation
because you don't want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a
mosque in Turkey . You offended our dead and every veteran when you
give the Germans more respect than the people who saved the German
people from themselves. What's the matter with you?

I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have the
historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be ashamed
of yourselves, all of you.

You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American
automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves in this
situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the
Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to
do about them? Anything? I seriously doubt it.

What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to
their staff members on top of the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises
that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average House aide got
a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer.
You haven't said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely
didn't!

Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million
in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that's $45 million more than
the AIG bonuses.. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already
been awarded $51 million not a bad take. Who authorized that and why
haven't you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely
responsible for the economic mess we have right now.

I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and not
caring about what you idiots do. We are watching what you are doing and
we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you. I also want you to
know that I personally find just about everything you do and say to be
offensive to every one of my sensibilities. I promise you that I will
work tirelessly to see that you do not get a chance to spend two terms
destroying my beautiful country.

Oath Keepers

For over 25 years, I was an Oath Keeper. I still am, the only difference being now is that I am out of the military service and I have retired from the Police Department. But I still hold the oath I took as a young soldier and later as a young rookie cop, right hand raised, dear to my heart. Although I have no official capacity now, I will still support that oath to the best of my ability.

There is much talk of very hard times befalling our country in the near future. Many people are saying that is all it is - just talk. I hope they are right. Others, however, are stock piling food stuffs and yes, guns and ammunition. There is much worry that the government will try to seize all firearms from the populace, disarming them, and violating the Second Amendment to our US Constitution. They are worried about warrantless searches of our homes and moving and separating families into civilian relocation centers; further violating our Constitution.

So what will the Oath Keepers do? This video is almost 10 minutes long, but it is a breath of fresh air.

Let us hope if any of this should come to pass that we encounter the true Oath Keepers of our Nation.

In light of the recent shootings, where innocent civilians and police officers were murdered by madmen, the Federal Government has once again raised the specter of gun control and the erosion of our Second Amendment rights. As usual, the Government is blaming the tool rather than the cause of these tragedies. This is the easy way out and it is also a red herring.

The Government would like all to believe that guns are insidious and evil. The premise is flawed as guns are not living things. They have no personality. They are plain and simply tools. Any tool, whether it is a pocket knife, baseball bat, shovel, et al. when placed in the hands of a murderous deviant can achieve similar results. It's an issue of personal responsibility.

In some of these situations, had the civilians involved been legally armed, the carnage in all probability would have been greatly reduced. Would there have been deaths? Yes. But wouldn't it have been a nicer scenario if the only death would have been that of the murderer intending to inflict many? Because someone was legally armed. Because of the Second Amendment.

Our Constitution is under attack by the very people we have elected to represent us. There are a few, like Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, R. Minnesota, who very correctly has seen fit to question those making the laws as to their Constitutional authority. She is asking the august body we call Government just exactly where in the Constitution it says they can do what they are doing? She's not getting any answers.

Please do not be fooled by Government misdirection. Read our Constitution. Know what it says. Support it, for if you do not, you will no longer be citizens, you will be subjects.

I just got done commenting on the ignorance of our media and now, today, I hear Nancy Pelosi, The Speaker of the House of the United States of America state that every month the “Stimulus” package is not passed, 500,000,000 (that’s 500 million) jobs are lost.

You can check it out for yourself right here on this link: Pelosi's Comment and hear it for yourself. Well, this is terrible! It’s terrible because the population of the U.S. is presently just shy of 306 million people.

The Speaker of the House does not even know how many people are in America! Something MUST be done about this politician and I suggest that something is for her constituents to wake up and vote her right out of office.

The Speaker of the House position should be held by someone who cares more about representing the People of our great country than by someone who tries to bully the bills she wants to be passed through the political process.

Please America, wake up before it is too late! Take charge of your lives so we will always be a land of the free.
